For the new site our focus was to bring a feeling of calm for the site visitors.  There is a smoothness and a fierce gentleness to how Maura does her work.  Bringing this into how she is visually represented online was more play than work.  The colours took inspiration from Mother Nature,  We wove together colours for lavender, cedar, sage and sweet grass.

Challenge:

We designed Maura's previous site, so the challenge turned out to be starting fresh.  At first we started changing aspects of the current site, but that process was cumbersome and time consuming.  Instead, we gesso'd the canvas, so to speak.

Working with Maura is always a gift.  I am fortunate to know Maura quite well, personally and professionally.  As such, finding her brand voice and identity was a delight.
